Replacing a gas boiler

    Is this a reasonable price? Feedback appreciated.

    Drain heating and remove existing back boiler/fire. Power flush heating system

    Alter pipework and extend thru wall to new boiler position

    Supply and fit new Baxi boiler c/w 10 year warranty and new timer

    Supply and fit new magnetic filter. Install inhibitor to system when finished

    Fitted on rear wall in kitchen. Price excludes zoning hot water (to be priced when existing boiler removed)

    €5,500.00 incl Vat. Two storey end-of-terrace house approx. 65sq.m. located in Dublin

    it would appear a bit spicy to me. I had a boiler replaced (old one our / new one in) for €2.4k last autumn

    I paid 2500 for replacement boiler with mag filter and boiler in same location, so yes I think it's too expensive, yes you're getting more work, I think a power flush is around 800.

    Thats not just a straight boiler replacement.
