Saw the new Toyota CHR+ render. Like the design, hate the SUV. So I try to make a new gen. Corolla

I love Corolla and cannot wait for the next gen design. Since the new design language-Hammerhead will probably carry over to the next Corolla, here is a quick and dirty photoshop that I made by using the new 2026 CHR+ photo as a base. So far the hammerhead has been hit and miss for me, but on this CHR+ is look quite good in my opinion, but it is still a SUV (not for me).

Personally, I hate the hammerhead and think Toyota have lost the run of themselves with too many creases leaving them looking like Japanese cartoon motors.

Fair point. I think the design direction overall goes toward something that look more and more like an EV. I don't mind this futuristic design that kind of started from Ioniq 5. Actually for I think that car pivot the car design to go toward that direction, which I like. I think Hyundai nailed it with the futuristic look.

But yeah, I saw some rendering of a new Corolla with the hammerhead and I think it looks like a facelift Scirocco.

haha! if this is out it will be the newest corolla and I would not have money for it anyway. Lexus CT is something I've been wanting for a couple of years now.
