Disability Allowance/part time work.

Hi, if anyone can point me in the right place,having searched the site and online, can't find an answer.

I can get 11 hours work per week @ minimum wage of €13.50. Would anyone be able to tell me if I'll keep my living alone allowance and other allowances, electricity/telephone?

You keep all your allowances as long as you are still on disability allowance even if it’s a minimal payment. You will also keep your full DA payment though on that wage. You just need to let them know you are working now and the weekly rate of pay. They may ask for you to send payslips as evidence but you will keep your full social welfare entitlements that you currently get.

You're allowed earn up to E165 pw before your DA is re-assessed.

Thank you both so much, That's a relief to know. I have written to DA and confirmed they have received sighed letter of employment.
