    It says it needs 4600watts connection rating. 4.6kW is maximum ~22.5amps. 6mm2 cable is specified for 32amps.

    Can't see any reason you can't use it. I wouldn't think you can buy a domestic hob that exceeds the standard 32amp MCB / 6mm2 used in Ireland.

    Maybe a sparky will correct me though!

    it is ok for a standard 6mm 32amp supply


    the issue could be if you also have an oven on the same circuit (especially a double oven)


    diversity does apply as it’s unlikely (but not impossible)that you would have all the rings on at the same time along with the ovens working

    Diversity is the main thing to factor in when it comes to high load circuits. Especially when it comes to cooking lines.
