    Ah yea. Makes sense. Why do this when you can gouge the life out of people a little bit more.

    The current return scheme isnt fit for purpose. We all know it.

    Its a way to get more money out of the hard pressed.

    Every single can and bottle would have to have a unique code? Surely that would be a massive logistical operation - it sounds absurd to me tbh, but perhaps someone with a background in QR coding can comment on how easy or hard it would be for millions of individual QR codes to be assigned, printed, tracked with an app etc?
