Converting window to door

    Hi

I want to change the layout of my kitchen which would involve converting the current window into a door, it needs to be filled in as currently 1200m, then also heightened.

Then I want to convert the french doors into a window, ideally this would be both heightened and widened. I'd like a large fixed window to create a window seat,

its the back wall and built with cavity blocks. The wall is 4500mm wide, french doors are 1500mm and window is 1200m. Based in Dublin.

Has anyone done this before and roughly what was the cost of the labour, would any of the window shops out there do that for me or would i have to source the various trades to do it (block layer and plasterer and window fitter). Would I need to get an engineer involved? There are no plumbing or electrics to be moved.

    Thanks
