    What will you have today with your pancakes, also will you shop buy or do yourself?

    I am going shop bought adding bananas and strawberries with lemon or lime juice

    I love sweet pancakes, not a fan of savoury ones

    Popped into local coffee shop for some, with bacon and maple syrup (though I think it might have been golden syrup...)

    A few more to bring home, which I'll probably have with lemon or butter

    Made one each for the kids at breakfast, they just had butter on them.

    Made more after school with chocolate spread and mini marshmallows.

    Had maple syrup and smoked streaky rashers with mine.

    Homemade pancakes here. Butter, lemon and sugar on mine. Nutella for The Kids. Berries for Mrs Billy.

    People who prefer savoury pancakes on Shrove Tuesday are psychopaths. Fact!

    Used my own recipe. Made 6 of 'em for dessert (three each)

    Butter, lemon and sugar, it's a classic for a reason!

    Himself tried a bit of Spiced Plum Compote on one of his, and I went for Lyles Maple Flavour Golden Syrup.

    Good times!

    I don't think I have ever in my life had a Shrove Tuesday without pancakes. I could make them in my sleep.

    Just caster sugar for me but it has to be liberally sprinkled between each pancake as they’re stacked after cooking. I like to eat mine when they’re cold so the sugar has melted in the heat of the oil & butter in the stack & it becomes syrup.

    I always make too many to make sure there’s enough left for me & for my breakfast tomorrow.

    We did not prepare well for pancakes in this house so forgot the lemon!
    So breaking tradition a little melted butter and raw honey and they were sublime.

    New tradition! And cooked on first run of De Buyers pancake pan.
