Help with professional networking

I'm moving to the USA soon and will need to attend a lot of networking events - something I’ve never been super comfortable with. Honestly, meeting new people in a professional setting always feels a bit intimidating, and I worry about not making a strong impression. To help ease my nerves, I’ve been preparing by brushing up on some conversation starters and even practicing a few quick self-introductions in front of a mirror. I also made a digital business card as I was advised by my colleagues from the US branches and found some networking tips on the platform's blog, picked up a couple of tips. (Ended up loving that I can update my info anytime without the joys of reprinting.) I’m excited about the move, but a bit concerned. So any suggestions on how to break the ice or keep conversations flowing naturally would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any ideas - you know, I could really use a little help from those who’ve been there and done that.
