Any suggestions on how to remove this inlet valve. It is offset and I can't get a 30mm deep socket onto it.

It is awkward as hell to get at too which isn't helping.

    Thanks.

    Maybe a crowfoot spanner?

Cut off nut with multi tool.

So got around to replacing it today. Relieved it with a Siamp 99T with brass tail.

It seems to shut of 99t correctly. There is a satisfying snapping noise as it stops the flow. However when I went back to it, it was trickling into the overflow. Very irritated.

I've ensured that the distance exceeds the minimum between the final water level and top of outletn and between the top of outlet and the cut off level of the inlet valve.

I've turned down the mains water pressure - it is lower now then what it was initially before this started playing up.

What could be the problem here? Or what have I missed during install?
