Studying Primary Teaching in the UK

    Hello!

I am currently waiting on my TEG B1 oral results and I am terrified that I have not reached the 65% to allow to qualify for the PME Primary on an Irish course this year. I have been considering options in the UK just in case.

The Teaching Council website says that you can register as a teacher after qualifying there but will need to complete an Irish aptitude test. This sounds okay but having talked to others , they said it is very hard to find a job in an Irish school with a qualification that isn’t from an Irish institution.

I’m just wondering if anyone has any insights into this?

    Thanks a million.
