Hi, we are traveling to Spain for the month in April. my data allows 20 gb roaming, after that it's charged at a high rate. I'm with Eir.

I need to be able to use internet for work reasons and also travel while over there, and streaming movies etc. We will be in a campervan, so I will be hotspotting the TV off the phone for Netflix etc.

I have a dual sim Iphone, so that may be of use, but I'm still checking providers.

Has anyone any experience doing this and recommendations please, thanks.

Ive used these guys a few times over the years but just normally for a week at a time,a month could be expensive but it works perfectly,we got the dongle and we all just connected to it,no problem streaming live tv

Not sure but think sky mobile offering unlimited eu data. Not sure if I'm correct or how useable it would be in reality.

20GB is a decent amount! I'm sure you will find Cafe's and rest stops that will have Public Wifi if you need to do work stuff..

For roaming abroad I use eSim from Airalo as it uses a better network/stronger signal than a Sim from an "Irish" provider…

Have a look at Lobster mobile, appears to be geared towards English speaking migrants, rates are very good 100gb/28 days/12.99.

I have not used this service so can't comment on speed or coverage.

There might be additional add-ons available. Something like 5euros for extra 10GB or whatever. I had similar with Vodafone in the past

    Check your plan

Does your iphone have an esim option? you can get good data plans on those. For instance gomo world has 25gbs of data for €20 which can also be topped up if you run out. Revolut have 50gb for €40.50
