Hey so I recently got a letter saying my eligibility is being reviewed for the DA and its basically them questioning if i still need it which I of course do, has anyone here been through something like this as well? For the record I have Autism which has made life not easy in a lot of ways, including getting a job, so this really has me worried…

Your Disability Allowance claim can be subject to medical review by the Department of Social Protection (DSP) during the course of your claim.

Whilst I never heard of an example of an eligiblity review, I'd imagine certain Illnesses do have a chance of improving, Autism is not one of them. I wouldn't worry to much.

Thank you for the answer, hopefully you're right, I guess I'll just submit a new medical report from my GP and wait for the decision.

All means tested payments can be subject to review at any time. It's a review - doesn't mean anything else.
