I would like to try pick up supervision and cover hours in post primary schools. Plan to register under route 3. I was enrolled in teaching programme but withdrew from programme and am not sure how to explain this when approaching schools or on my cv. I got on well in my schools but couldn't keep on top of the required college work and cant repeat. I would like to pick up supervision hours while planning my next step. Any advice on how to approach this please?

Check school websites for “substitute teacher” or “relief staff” ads, or register with agencies like Education Posts (educationpostsie). Even without QTS, schools can hire you for non-teaching roles like cover supervision—managing a class with pre-set work.
