One of the greatest drummers of all time really. A powerhouse who transcended various styles from their early punk days, to more blues, funk, jazz and rock inspired stuff in the latter days of the Jam.
Always came across as a quite a quiet, humble and humours guy the odd time he’d appear in the media.
One half of a completely brilliant rhythm section him and Bruce Foxton…. They were perfect together and the Jam themselves were just incredible….
