What is the correct adhesive to use here and should I clean the edging beforehand (and with what)?

    Thanks,

    Tommy

Contact adhesive. Probably don't need to clean it unless there is obvious contamination from oil/grease.

Edging is often ironed on. Try holding an iron on the section that's become unstuck for a few seconds and see if that softens the remaining glue enough to restick.

Contact adhesive unless its iron on.

That must be Nigel with the brie...

And cover the lipping with a sheet of newspaper first or the iron can leave a mark on it.

Something like this might be more appropriate?

Obviously you'll need to cut it to size.

Wake me up when it's all over.
