Hi. I have a ferguson 35 that had a number of leaks and needed few bits doing. Brought it to a guy who fixed it but when driving home...a new leak had started! I have attached a pick of the leak. It comes from the back down along where my left foot is. The guy who fixed the other leaks doesn't seem to have a clue what it is, said it might be blowing from the tipper pipe but it's not. Any ideas ?

Is that engine oil or clean oil from the transmission/ hydraulics? It looks like engine oil but hard to tell. If it is engine oil, I'd be looking up under the dash at the pipe to the oil pressure gauge. If it's hydraulic oil, is it coming out by your PTO lever?

Hi thanks. I hadn't thought that it would be engine oil but really I have no clue. It seems to be coming from the bottom of the part I circled. Although the man who was fixing other leaks seemed amazed that oil could leak from here given he said there aren't any places for it to leak there

We've a 4 cylinder mf 35 at home. The leak could be coming from higher up at the lift arms. Maybe put the lift up to it's max and see if oil starts weeping from it.

Ok thanks. I won't be near it until next week but will try then and let you know

I'd go with the oil pressure clock as well. Too black for hydraulic oil. Try the smell test :)

Thanks a mil. I think you have done already ? I'm not good with this website. I always find it hard to understand why the options ( as in the categories in which you log your query ) are so random. Maybe I am missing something 🤔

Sorry I don't fully understand. Can you explain more ? I'm not very mechanically minded...completely clueless you could say. It was dads tractor and I always kept it after he died in 2017. Use it to bring home turf and not much more!
