4k electric MTB for 10km commute & some trails

Budget is 4k(ish) and will be used for 10km commute & some trails (tic nock), am i overlooking anything obvious?

The 10km commute is almost irrelevant compared to the trails you'll be doing…

I assume you have somewhere secure to park it?

The 500wh battery is on the small side for a 4k bike!

Radon are doing really good value eMTBs nowadays.

Bosch CX Gen4 motors (much better than the Shimano on the Canyon above; market leader), bigger batteries (than the Canyon above), this one has better everything (brakes, wheels, motor, battery, suspension etc.) compared to the above you mentioned https://www.radon-bikes.de/en/e-bike/mountainbike/render/render-90-750-2024/ €3360 ex VAT.

Currently looking at the Orbea Urrun 30 at €3009

The 2025 version is Ok for spec, but I/you can get a 2024 version with much better spec ( better fork,11 speed cassette, better groupset, dropper post) for €3,699.
