    Morning all,

Have a Nikon DSLR I bought a few years ago second hand and haven't used it too much.

    I have a Tamron AF 70 - 300MM Tele-Macro Lens and a Nikon SX AF-S Nikkor 18 - 55mm lens

Was thinking should I keep it, is it a good camera?

if so anyone recommend a good mid budget Macro lens as I would like to take close up photos of flowers etc

    Cheers

I have a D3100 myself. IMO, its a grand entry level camera that can take good pictures. I can't advise too much on a macro lens but my advice would be, master the camera/composition/exposure etc first before dropping a bigger amount of money on a new camera.
