Spotify alternatives available in Ireland

Long term spotify user here, getting increasing concerned with their appalling treatment of artists in terms of royalties and looking for an alternative music streaming service with a similar catalog size that treats artists reasonably. I've tried Soundcloud but their credit card portal looks for ZIP codes and rejects Irish postal codes. Also looked at Resonate, but they're not currently taking on new subscribers. Bandcamp is cool but not really for streaming. Any other options out there? I'm using Android and Windows for playback.

No idea about how they treat artists, but there's Deezer.

I swapped from Spotify to YouTube a while back. If you're gonna pay for music anyway, it's worth having Premium to view yt with no ads

I didn't switch yet, but tidal is around the same price and higher bitrate than Spotify.

I think they treat artists slightly better, but to be honest none of the streamers pay anything that could be considered fair or reasonable.

I see you mention soundcloud, my impression of there (being a user myself) is that it's more for users to share their own music, rather than to have a catalogue of the latest chart music. It might have changed though.

might not be great if they're an android and windows user. Even getting iTunes to start on my windows laptop is an ordeal.

As you say, reading around it does seem that none of the streaming services pay the artists reasonably. I'll give Tidal a go. Can't seem to set up a SoundCloud paid account from Ireland.
