Satellite scan not picking up all channels

    hi folks

    Some context - we had issues scanning for channels on vu+ duo box running openpli.

    I recently had an installer out to properly align our the dish - getting more channels now after auto scan but still not getting the likes of ITV/Channel 4. Have all the bbc stations.

    I tried to manually tune in these missing channels using sites such as hhttps://rxtvinfo.com/channel-4-satellite-manual-tuning-information/ - but still no luck, can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Anything I’m overlooking?

    Did you align dish after storm or before? You need to use signal finder to see if you are getting a signal and use this frequency

    Its a while since I used openpli but try menu tuners, signal finder, change predefined to user defined and enter the above and wait. If you get no signal then it can be skew is out, lnb needs a twist, lnb faulty, harder to establish, dish out of alignment, get him back. Can you say version of open pli, menu information about,

    You can use the same frequency but change to H and see if any signal.

    For channel 4HD use 10936V 23000, 3/4 8PSK. its evn stronger than the above.

    If you get him back use the above while he is at dish.
