How does a mod define a link dump ? . This appears to be ambiguous and can depend on whether a mod agrees with content or not . I wonder is it better run a post by a mod before it goes on the board .

    Not Your Ornery Onager

Post a link with no comment or a one-liner.

    Not a mod.

Tell us something about the link. If a poster clicks in to the thread after 24 hours of not being online and your post is the first post they see and they're not interested in reading back 4-5 pages of discussion, will your post tell them anything without them having to read your link, watch your video, or visit a different site?

Let the link back up your point, not make the point for you.
