Point on Scale Question - Civil Service

    I know someone who did job sharing for a year, then did relief work for 6 months and then took up a permanent position.

    When starting the permanent position, would they get credit for working out their point of scale, for the period of job sharing (even though they were not the post holder), and/or the period of relief work?

    They should be put in the next point on the scale, recognising their 12 months service.
