new to this forum , I’d greatly appreciate an insight into my situation, I’ve been on Trr and illness benefit combined.

My concern is they are both due to exhaust shortly , My Gp will continue to certify me unfit for work indefinitely.

My question is what way would my circumstances pan out regarding pay , is Trr extension granted and illness benefits extended as I have a chronic illness.

Thanks in advance for any help , as I find it very difficult to get any information.

    Bert !

Illness benefit won't be extended beyond the statutory period. If your illness continues to prevent you from working, you need to apply for invalidity pension.

I don't know anything regarding TRR extension or indeed if any income protection is available once it runs out. Maybe a question for your union rep & HR.
