Howdy Folks, looking to swap out two radiators in bedrooms that run of gas central heating. Was thinking of buying these as you get the TRV’s free with them…

Any reason not to buy them?

Two reasons:

It's large for it's heat-output (1200mm by 600mm) for 2051W while this one is 1000mm by 500mm at 2078W:

And it's going to include UK diameter 15mm pipe fittings and not Irish diameter 1/2".

Plus I'd be of the opinion that you get what you pay for in terms of quality. Up to you entirely.

I got a couple of screwfix rads with trv and plumber installed them and there was no issue re uk v irish pipe sizes.

Very happy with heat output too.

I've installed a few of them and they are fine, TRVs seem ok too.

Cheers folks, appreciate all the comments.On a budget the size of a fly’s arse… I’ll take a punt on the Screwfix one’s.. they are for two bedrooms, so hopefully they’ll do the trick.

The screw fix radiators seem fine ,I'm on tight budget but couldn't refuse the rads at the price they sell for , much cheaper than everybody else.

I was stuck at Christmas to do a job and no where was open, bought two doubles.

The valves are very cheap though,I bought danfoss ones as they were half price.

Screwfix seem to sell at cost for some items ,I think the rads are one of them , genuinely.
