Random figures being given for BH pay.

    So the job I work doesn't have a set work pattern. The BH amount I got at Christmas day seemed right, but when compared to New Year's day I got 1.4 hours less. I pointed this out to a manager in the company, illustrating the figures of both days. He just said that as per Irish statute, that the amount paid is based on the average over the previous 13 weeks, and that it's calculated automatically. Obviously the Irish statute thing was my exact point, so I went back again to spell out that the 13 week average couldn't possibly drop that much within one week. Hasn't responded since!

    Now I'm not saying I plan on making a big thing about this, but I'd like to hear your views. That about it being calculated automatically must be a flat out lie because I compared this to the amount I'd got for the October BH and it was a dead even figure.
