The plastic outlet on my shower tray is broken. Do I need to remove the tray to access the drain pipes to fix it? Who should I look for to fix it?

    Is it upstairs or downstairs?

It's upstairs. Today, I cut an inspection hole in the ceiling below it and found it leaking at several points and cracked. So, I removed the doors and tray to see a disaster. The plywood floor below it is soaked and rotting away.

In that case it will need to come out and whole thing be re-done properly.

The wall tiles and also where they meet with the tray is a big offender.

    That is what we did.
