Things to check when buying a hybrid car from a particular (no dealer)

Assuming no warranty is provided and hearing from other forums that batteries should be changed every 100k (but they cost 6000 €), what should I look carefully before buying it?

    Thanks

Check out this video to put your mind at ease.

This guy has a very good Toyota channel, this video goes into great depth on the hybrid batteries.

You don’t need to change a hybrid battery every 100k and it doesn’t cost €6k. If the hybrid system works properly on the test drive then its most likely fine

Ask a taxi driver. You'll be surprised to see how many Prius are driving in Ireland, high mileage cars (sometimes over 350k).
A new (non-oem) battery cost 1300 euro. I quoted in a company named vitronix.
