Mobile plan with best service?

I'm on 48 now, and the mobile data is quite bad. I'm in Dublin. I have family all over the world and do most calls on WhatsApp, and basically can only have a decent phone call at home on Wifi. The main issue is that at least once every 2 minutes it cuts out for 5-10 seconds during a call. I'd like to change to a carrier with better service, but not sure which is best, and how much more I'll really need to pay. I know 48 is through three; previously I had Vodafone and it was a bit better (but still cut out sometimes). How has people's experience with Eir been?

€14.99 if you go instore btw

Vodafone/3/eir prepay plans all last 28 days not 30 meaning you pay for 13 "months" over the course of a year instead of 12.

OP is not asking what various plans cost; he is asking which of Ireland's three mobile networks offers the best connectivity. Once he knows the answer to that, he can then research the various plans offered by carriers that utilise that network.

OP, there isn't a one-word answer. The quality of connectivity offered by each network varies from place to place, so the answer will depend in part on where you are when you are trying to use the service. Also the answer may differ depending on whether you want 4G or 5G coverage. Quality of connectivity is also affected by factors such as the characteristics of the building you're in. Finally, it's also dependent on the characteristics of the handset you're using.

Comreg maintains an outdoor mobile coverage map here, where you can compare the quality of coverage you can expect from each network in any place, so that might be a useful resource for you — you can compare the quality of coverage in the places where you are most likely to be using the phone. Note that it's expressly confined to measuring the qualty of connectivity when you're outdoors, but you'd generally expect that if outdoor coverage is very good then there's a better chance that indoor coverage is also good.

    It most certainly is not.

Eir mobile connect 30 day is €19.99 a month for 12 months on a 30 day rolling

Eir mobile complete 30 day is €24.99 a month for 12 months this plan has 200 international mins and texts. Eir broadband customers will receive a €10 discount on either plan; what store did you manage to buy either plan for €14.99 unless you got intl and you have broadband?

No, so it's been €14.99 for Connect since Sky Mobile launched, the offer keeps getting extended. The plan "costs" €29.99 with a €10 discount for 12 months and an additional €5 discount for 12 months making it €14.99. This is an instore only promotion.

If you've broadband it's €9.99 instore and online

I would do some research on customer complaints before picking a network. Some of them have had a terrible reputation.

To know which has the best signal, you'd need to test a few pay as you go sims. Also different phones are better than others.

communications companies have horrific customer care, they can’t and don’t communicate with the contractee, product offering & signal should always be top of the list since you are bottom of theirs.

Those are online prices. Online and instore have different prices for example €50 broadband credit instore but €100 online. The €14.99 SIMO is an instore promo
