    Hi everyone,

I’m considering moving to Sligo and have come across an opportunity in the Crozon Park area. I’m unfamiliar with the neighbourhood and was hoping to get some input from locals or anyone familiar with the area.

How would you describe Crozon Park in terms of safety and general atmosphere? Is it a good spot for someone looking to spend a lot of time there? I’ve heard it’s a busy area, but I’d love to know if it’s family-friendly, has a good community vibe, or if there are any issues I should be aware of.

I’d really appreciate any advice or observations. Thanks in advance for your help!

How would you describe Crozon Park:

in terms of safety and general atmosphere?

Having lived in the Crozon / Knocknaganny area for almost 30 years I can tell you it is very safe. As regards atmosphere, unfortunately the local bar/restaurant closed a few years ago.

Is it a good spot for someone looking to spend a lot of time there?

There are some nice green areas to relax when weather permits.

    I’ve heard it’s a busy area

Not that busy, but can be a lot of through traffic at peak times. It depends on what part of Crozon you are living in.

    Is it family-friendly

Lots of families of varios ages now as houses built over 30 years ago.

Has it a good community vibe?

No matter where you live it depends on your neighbours, but in general it is a friendly area.

Any issues I should be aware of.

I have never had any issues.

There is a large Centra nearby, otherwise it is a 15 minute walk to town centre and a 20 minute walk back as it is uphill!
