Possibly moving to Boyle area

Me any my family are moving house from Sligo and thinking of Boyle as a place to relocate given the road to Sligo, trains and buses etc.. & we've seen some nice houses around. Is there anywhere that should be avoided because of anti social issues or settlements of people of the traveling persuasion?
