    This is something I do here in Switzerland with kids in their late teens who are usually on an apprenticeship and need to learn a bit of financial discipline. And yes most of them do end up with a nice little 'Christmas Box' to spend over the holiday period, which is a new experience for most! Perhaps it might be useful for some of you dealing with [the lack of] teenage finances. It make the point to them that there is no magic involved you got to apply discipline.
