Yes we've one down about 9yrs in the kitchen, it still looks fantastic after all the thrills, spills, 3 kids and a dog. We haven't done anything with it as in treatmets or anything yet and it's still perfect, it's not damaged or anything near the sink where you'd expect water to do some damage but it hasn't, we wouldn't leave a spill to sit there for hours or overnight.

Not sure how big your hall is but if you know exactly how much you need it's worth checking with a few different shops/suppliers if they have any left over after a bigger job and you might be able to get that at a bargin price, i've done that with a few wooden floors around the house.

We're doing the hall shortly in engineered and the designer has told us go look at matt britton, haven't costed it up yet but i'd have no problem buying canadi again if the price is right.
