    Hi folks,

    Something very odd happened today and I was hoping someone could give me a logical explanation.

    I'm currently roaming in the EU (I'm connected through Vodafone). Today I sent a long-ish text message (2 parts) to one of my non-Irish contacts here. The message was received in two parts (which is a bit odd, in this day and age) but what was weirder was that the two messages appeared as if they had been sent by two separate mobile numbers, none of which were mine, they were actually two local mobile numbers.

    Does anyone know what's going on?

    Now the opposite has happened. In the space of 5 minutes Itexted a mobile number abroad, I got a reply back from what appeared to be an Irish "landline" (+353 64 550 xxxx), I sent them another message to the original number, the reply I got back this time was from their correct number.

    What could be causing this?
