    Hey all and Happy Christmas.

I have the above device installed in my distribution board for monitoring usage as well as providing load balancing when charging the EV. I only noticed this evening that there is no LCD showing now. My guess is I will require electrician to call and replace this, but am wondering if there is any reason this might be powered off? I don't see a way to power it on, its all touch screen, so my guess is its broken. Without this, I will need to be careful about charging off the 6kw unit.

The unit has been installed now for approximately 3 years, we have had a number of power cuts (external) recently so not sure if that could have affected it, any ideas?

It'll presumably need replacement by a REC and possibly SPDs fitting if you dont have

Is it just the display gone . Is it still functioning can you check

    Not that above matters much

Thanks, I will call a REC tomorrow and see what they say. It seems to be properly dead, there is no LCD display or any (flashing) red light indicating consumption. There doesn't appear to be any fault on the charger, but I wouldn't expect it as the only relation between them is a data cable.

Ya it won't be related to charger as you say there's only a data link

No flashing red light probably means it's fubar

Could be related to outages , maybe a change in voltage occured or a surge even . I'd defo look at SPDs if not fitted
