Model Engineering anyone?

Does anyone use metal working tools to build models, such as steam engines?

I'm a blow in from England and there are many model engineering societies (clubs) over there, but I don't know anyone over here who has an interest in model engines.

There is a Model Experimental Engineers Club that runs the railway in Marlay Park.

    Many are machinists.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I'm in West Cork and Dublin is a bit far to go for an evening's work!

Pre Covid, there used to be model shows with a few engineered models on display, but the shows have now all evaporated.

You could try asking Broderick in Clare. Specialises in heli, but should have a good contacts list.

    Best of luck!
