Not so much a consumer issue, but more of an observation.

I used to pick up 3.5kg of brisket from my local Butchers having developed a taste for it in Dallas a couple years ago. Usually it would cost just over €30. Today, I picked up a 3.4kg piece after about a year of having no much smaller 1kg cuts mixed in with other purchased meats, but today the Brisket cost €52. I know everything has gone up in price, but this is in the region of 60% in a year. I haven't noticed it is other items to the same extent. So, is it beef, brisket, or meat in general?

I should say I've purchased 5-6kg of chuck in recent months and that cost less than the brisket I just paid for.
