Good Beans for a Grind and Brew Machine

Not having much luck so far with the beans I've picked for a Russel Hobbs grind and brew machine. So far I've tried: Velo Beans (BMX from Aldi) and Slumber Jacks. Neither have worked well no matter what settings I've tried.
