    Hello everyone, has anyone had the procedure of Uterine Artery Embolization to shrink the fibroids done in Ireland. Which hospital is good to get it done? How was the overall experience. Did it resolve the issues? Any complications after the procedure? How about post procedure recovery? Please advise on the above, thank you.

    Hi, I had this procedure done last year in St James Hospital with Dr Niall Mceniff.
    It resolved my issues very quickly. I was out of action for about 2 wks but quickly recovered afterwards. No complications. Fibroid was over 10cm initially and was causing a lot of problems. Was less than half that size within a few mths of having the procedure. No problems since. Couldn’t recommend Niall enough. 😊

    I am trying to book with Dr Niall but it is taking longer than expected. I don’t have insurance so I’m trying to figure out if I could afford it. Could you please let me know how much do they charge for it?
