Wall Ethernet Port not working after router change

    Hoping for some help please.

Virgin sent me a new router which I installed today. Everything working in home and wifi.

I have a garden room with a cat 5 (I think) cable running to garden room with two wall Ethernet ports. One of the ports has a WiFi router plugged in and WiFi working fine off that in the garden room.

The second port on the other side of the room which is connected to Xbox, sky box& tv has stopped working since the router change. Has to be router change related but what confuses me is why one port in garden room is working and the other isn’t. I’ve plugged a laptop directly into each port to test Ethernet connection and working on one and not the other.

    Any ideas?? Thanks
