So I've been trying to put my finger on why I didn't like Tubs

Just watch the start of this. He really keeps trying to trip up Tony Blair, and doesn't like it when Blair jokes back. Then eventually Blair says he got his tie from someone in the corridor and that he'll give it back to them after the show, but Tubs says "you better"! Take it easy Tubs.

I am not a fan of Tubridy, but all I see here is banter before an interview.

Haven't seen the interview but have never liked the man.

I'd often wonder how so many listeners could suffer him.on radio or be senseless enough to endure him on tv.

There was satisfaction in seeing him and the talentless lot in rte shown up fir what they are. Only wish something more had been done to clean out an incestuous useless public service.

he came across as a bit of a know it all, like at times he came across as if he wanted to show you that he knew more about the guest then the guest knew about themselves. He’s might not be an arrogant person but that sort of attitude presents as arrogant.

It’s amazing how 1000% more personable and likeable Kielty seems, already. He has a very apparent combination of warmth and humour that certainly Tubridy didn’t project to the same level to put it kindly.
