    hi there

I recently got a my virgin media upgrade to 500mbps. The new modem is a Sagemcom Hub. For some reason, the Wi-Fi signal is picked up no problem by my iPhone , iPad and work laptop. It’s not picked up by my Lenovo ideapad 320s. It simply is not visible as an option to select. I have tried everthing , window updates, reset network etc but no luck . Anyone any suggestions ?

    Hi,

I would log in to the Virgin Media router and ensure that both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands are enabled.

    • Ensure that the router is using common Wi-Fi channels (e.g., 1, 6, 11 for 2.4GHz).
    • On your Lenovo Ideapad 320s, go to Network Settings and ensure that it is set to detect all available networks.

It may happen you laptop driver does not support 5G?

    Just guessing
