I need to get Saka into my team. Looking for advice on best way to do this. I should have just done this last week when I was itching to get him in.

    Possible options -

Gabriel to Timber and Mbeuno to Saka

Isak to Hojlund and Mbeuno to Saka

Bruno to Saka and Verbruggen to Henderson or Areola

Mbeuno to Saka and Ait Nouri to Mykolenko

Gabriel gone off injured so that might sort that for me

team full on red flags and in a mess - early KO caught me off guard a little and made a late change that didn’t work out - haven’t taken a hit all season but might need to do some surgery for next GW.

Raging I forgot to transfer in Saka for Palmer last week.

    Must be done this week.

Done. I could spend the next few days thinking and overthinking this so rather than that I just did a double transfer now. Gabriel and Mbueno out. Timber and Saka in.

Have to sort out my defence/fodder

Currently have RAN Gabriel (flagged) Robinson Bednarek (flagged) and out of favour Keane

Have the funds for Trent out of my Haaland money

Diaz out for Saka. Still have one FT & .8 ITB. Think I'll hang on to it for now.

    Raya

    Aina VVD Lewis

    Salah© Palmer Mitoma Saka Mbeumo

    Wood Wissa

    Bench: Sels, Welbeck, Robinson, Ait-Nouri

I brought in Jackson for Isak…still have a bit of movement to do, as 3 red flags on the bench and short a bit of money

I'm not sure who to captain, do I take a bet on Chelsea v Southampton??

And then I'd like to try Jackson, but Feel Palmer is always best for free kicks and Pens!!

And then the pain of taking it away from Salah or Saka!!!

Need Saka or Odegaard but not possible without a hit so will likely hold my transfer this GW and then Mbeumo/ESR to Odegaard/Amad

Looking like another hit I reckon...

Which out of these is the least worst 😭

    A) Watkins to Jackson

    B) Watkins to Evalison and Diaz/Mbeumo to Saka (-4)

Already have Salah and Palmer 🤔

Took a -4 last week so loath to do another one this week but really need Salah in, which would be mean getting rid of Haaland and a midfielder. Then again surely, surely City will have to bounce back with a win this week with Haaland scoring! What a frustrating season.

I'd probably do A for this GW or B at the weekend tbh. Not sure the -4 is worth it

Have made serious ground in most of my leagues over the last few weeks - at about 1mil now from 3.5 million in GW9. Taking differential punts and a few have hit. Anyone fancy Delap for the next few weeks? Favourable fixtures.

Son and isak out. Saka and Jackson in. Haaland captain for the laugh at this stage.

Anyone rolling the dice on a Haaland captaincy...?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,503 ✭✭✭Flaneur OBrien

    Sticking with Salah.

    Don't even have EBH anymore!

Well if you still have him at this stage you might as well double down and throw the armband on him.

Mulling over Salah Vs Palmer myself 🤔

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,032 ✭✭✭crushproof

No Salah so it's either Haaland or Palmer for me.

Chelsea v Southampton with 4th choice keeper could be a cricket score but knowing my luck it will be the game Southampton win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,107 ✭✭✭✭Cartman78

Going with Palmer fwiw....I think Liverpool will probably win but Newcastle tend to raise their game against bigger clubs.

Forgot about the deadline, was thinking of doing Mbeumo to Bowen so will be annoyed if he goes on the rampage tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,978 ✭✭✭ForestFire

Also forgot deadline, but kinda prepared with Jackson in for Isak and Palmer Captain

Thank god, would have tearing my hair out watching Bowen tonight, could easily have had double digits.
