    Hi there,

How much would it cost to take up 40-50 SQM of tiles, put down proper deep floor insulation and install a herringbone floor? Including cost of wood and all installation costs.

Also if adding underfloor heating would it add much to the SQM price?

This is a really broad question but I'll try to help as I'm doing my own calculations on this.

I'm wanting UFh in my 2001 build house. Solid concrete floors, I'm being told I need to dig them all up and put down insulation, need screed and then tiles. I got a quote of €38,000 for my 70sqm not including the tiles.

We might moderate that idea a little but this is my calculations so far

    Dig Up Floors

    €60 psm

    Lo Profile UFH system

    €80 psm

    Pouring Screed Concrete

    €30 psm

Tiling (c. €40 tiles pus same again for fitting)

    €80 psm

So over €250 per sq m. maybe 12-15000 for your place.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong on any of these, I need the help too.
