Flu jab on Tuesday.. Is this normal

    Arm sore tue and wed, started to feel under the weather yesterday.. Then today in work felt completely wiped out.. Very tired, weak, couldn't warm up and very irritable. Got home from work and got straight into bed.

    If normal, how long will this last??

    Open to correction, but this can happen, though it's not extremely common. It's kind of (one of) the body's way of reacting to the vaccine. Shouldn't take more than 3 days, if it goes for longer you should consult your GP. I find constant hydration easing the symptoms somewhat.

    Personally and from speaking to friends, family - this year flu vaccine hit harder with "mild" side effects. Feeling lethargic, heavy, tired after it.

    it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that you caught a virus in the surgery. Might not be related to jab at all.

    I had one day of fatigue after mine and got covid jab at same time. Covid vaccine hurts my arm every time.
