Ferguson Arriva 255 shutting down & re-starting problem

Hi all,

I have a Ferguson Arriva 255 that has only recently began to shut itself down and re-start if I try to update the channels with a single satellite search (Uk channels).

Curiously, it also does this when I try to update the terrestrial saorview channels.

It starts the updates, then randomly shuts down and re-starts. I have another of these boxes in the house that works fine so it is just this one box. I have checked all of the cables, plugs etc.

I've looked online and can't find any similar scenarios or solutions.

All comments or suggestions very much appreciated!!

Have you tried factory resetting the box?

It may also be worth trying swapping out the power adapter with the good box, in case that's the problem. I've seen other boxes randomly rebooting before because the power adapter was faulty, not supplying enough juice.

Did a reset to factory settings and it seemed to have worked.
