Looking for a 27" or larger IPS 4k monitor for use with laptop

I am currently looking for two 27" or larger IPS monitors for use with my laptop. My distance from screen will be 75 cms. I currently doesn't play any games but may do that in future. I would need speakers on the monitors.

I was looking at 4K, but most of them have only 60hz refresh rate. Any thing with higher refresh rates are very highly priced.

Shall I go for a WQHD 27" monitor with high refresh rate?

Will a 32" monitor fit my desk considering the 75 cms viewing distance?

Which brands are best?

Any good offers running at the moment?

A WQHD 27 monitor with 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate is a good choice for now and gaming in future. A 32 monitor should fit at 75 cm but might feel a bit large depending on desk space. Brands like Dell, LG, ASUS, and Samsung got good options.

I will be using it for work from home, watching youtube content, reels etc, listening to music etc. So basically everything other than gaming, video editing, photoshop  etc.

I'm in a similar boat too. I am looking for a monitor 27" with good resolution for use for WFH, and occasional PS5 or Firestick use. I did see a few on Amazon around the €200 price range. The main requirements are: high resolution, decent refresh rate, good colour contrast and also more than 1 HDMI port. Herself saw the curved screens too and thought they were good so maybe one of those. What about this?

I havent heard much about this brand before.So I prefer sticking with established brands like LG, Samsung, Dell etc

my gigabyte M32U has been excellent for the last 2 years - 144Hz but you will have to put your hand in your pocket.

Yes, dont go for a VA panel unless you have a specific need for high contract like 3000:1 and high black level. less viewing angle compared to IPS.

A good IPS monitor is future proof.

Good to know, I also was looking at this one. Broadly along similar lines but I can't tell if it has speakers or not. On the comparisons they all look the same and I'm sure in the grander scheme of things it'll make little or no difference at all to me but I'd hate to be stuck with something which is essentially useless in a year or two.

Any idea how the below compare with an LG 4K. I dont play games at all. But just productivity, social media, videos etc

I have never used an MSI brand monitor or a VA panel before. So how will an LG 4k compare with an MSI UWQHD. I know it is not a like by like comparison, but any suggestions?
