[Feature suggestion] Markup Editor

Trying to do basic text formatting like bold, bullet points, etc on this forum is very cumbersome.

Nothing works as it should. I try to do a bulleted list, I highlight several lines and click bullet list and it puts everything in my whole post into the bulleted list. Sometimes I get random empty lines in my posts, I press delete to try to erase the dead space in a post and it creates MORE dead space, the complete opposite of every text editor on the planet. After wasting a minute to get a post formatted properly, I click post and the published post looks totally different to how it looked in the post editor, formatting all screwed up again. It's very frustrating.

I suggest a toggle-able markup editor so we can manually format things or at least see why the formatting is getting screwed up so badly.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
