    Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, but I've recently been sent 1080p files of a concert of a DVD that was released some time ago.

The DVD had Stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 audio and obviously 720p video - which, due to the size of the audio was pretty badly compressed - and low res.

Anyway, using multAVCHD and a bunch of other tools, I've taken the HD video and married the 3 audio tracks from the DVD to a blu-ray - which so far works on:

    • Sony UBP-x700 4k player
    • PC Blu-ray writer (obviously)
    • Playstation 4
    • Playstation 5

However, I'm wondering if there is any software that would read the file system etc and re-assure me that the same disc will work on (generally) any Blu-Ray player, and on Xbox (which I believe can be very picky). That is, some software to say either:

    • Yes, this disc should play in all players or
    • There are some issues with this disc -
      • Issue A
      • Issue B
      • etc etc…

I just want to ensure as far as I can that the Blu-Ray will play before I send it back to the artist concerned.

    Any pointers very much welcomed.

    Thanks,

    -ZB

I've discovered that the disc does not play properly in a Panasonic DMP-BDT120…
