Apologies if this isn't correct for the forum, but it seemed like the best place to go. Would anyone know what sort of issues the Shoks warranty covers?

I have a pair of Shokz OpenRun earphones and the earpiece now seems to be damaged and is a bit 'dangly'. I suspect it might've gotten damgaed while in my pocket or bag and the sound does still seem to come out okay from the damaged side.

I had a look at their warrantly policy and it wasn't really clear if physical issues like this are covered?

I had an issue with a pair back in 2018 and they sent me a replacement. My issue was to do with the sound in one ear piece being muffled/unlistenable. customer service were good to deal with.

I had a pair replaced recently also with very little fuss.

There was Physical damage to the charging point.

2 years. They got pissy with me as I didn't have the warranty card but they gave in after a bit back and frow. They were selling devices without any serial on them which is in breach of EU laws and then not covering the warranty as you couldn't confirm the serial without the warranty card which of course you binned. Telling them that if they didn't replace it I would ensure that EU law blocked sale as they breach of selling those products into the EU. Magically I got a nice new upgraded version after that.

I went through 4 pairs during my warranty period. Every one failed the same way - one side would just simply stop working. The last pair went a week outside the warranty period which they agreed to replace. The only thing I can think of is that they are not waterproof and a prolonged exposure to rain, even if light, will eventually seep into one of the sides and kill it.

Each warranty claim required a video showing the problem.
