Golf hitting net

Hi, I'm looking to set up a golf hitting net and mat out in my back garden to save time from commuting to the range. There's alot of nets online but I'd really appreciate any feedback from anyone here that's bought one and what they thought about it? The ones with the best reviews are over €700 and the ones under €100 seem too good to be true. I live in the city so I need a durable net or I'll be paying fortunes in repairs😂

Thanks for sharing. Was looking at those forb golf nets/mats too. The mat appears very thin in comparison to their other offerings. I rang Golfstyle in Galway and they do a good mat at around €240/250. No very happy with it. I actually made the width of the cage 2m instead of 3 meters so it wouldn't take up so much space.

So that's an option you have too with this cage.

Brilliant seems very accurate with my woods, irons seem to be coming up short but that could be me.

There was an update to the Rapsodo recently that really improved the graphics when playing simulation.

The impact vision too is very good and it saves every shot you hit to the cloud.

Just a warning if you already don't know, if you want spin metrics you have to pay a yearly €200 fee or €500 lifetime fee.

First year is free.

I had seen that they have the special calloway/titleist balls if you want the most accurate spin data. I didn't know that about the spin metrics subscription. Thanks for letting us know. Are you just using your phone or a tablet for the data/games?

Not just spin. You pretty much just get practice mode without the sub.
Courses, range, speed training, video - I believe they all require an active sub.

Thanks for the info. We'll give it a go for a year anyway and see how we go from there. It's fantastic that there are new sims coming out each year. Only getting better value for the home user.

Just an update, I have ordered a Forb Pro practice mat and a net from the website below. I got a personal recommendation on it so said its worth a go at the price point.

how have you found the durability of this mat and the Amazon one. I ordered the net you recommended thanks. Just looking to get the right mat for the garden now. The form pro mat seems to have shot up in price.

Hi, I haven't got to use it as hurt my knee so can't really swing a golf club. The mat looks very good though and it's alot bigger than I expected which is no harm. Best of luck with your purchases.

Think I have the same net and it was too wide for me also so I left out one of the poles to make it 2m wide.

You should be able to to this all round so you'll have a 2m*2m*2m enclosure
